Another one of those mysterious paintings where you get to make up the story. This is Kusawa Lake (somewaht abstracted) and we find a blue canoe beached along the shore. Is it abandoned? Or is someone nearby camping or fishing or hiking or prospecting. Or did it wash up from somewhere else?
